Welcome to Absolute Basement Finishing, LLC. My name is Darren Salyer. I started Absolute Basement Finishing, LLC. in 2010, with the sole purpose of focusing on high quality Basement Finishing including fine cabinetry and exquisite built-ins in and around the St. Louis metro area.

As a company, we are one of only a handful of true concept to completion resources for homeowners in the area who value the convenience and peace of mind that comes from a truly professional organization. Years of experience focusing only on upscale, unique projects has led us to develop a process to become the very best at what we do…make your basement beautiful.

About Darren

I have 26+ years experience in the construction and remodeling industry and started out building homes in 1985. I built homes well into the 90s and while doing so received more and more requests to bring that level of quality to clients existing homes.

Total Home Remodeling, Absolute Basement’s predecessor,  was formed as a result of those requests, and truly was a full service remodeling company. We did so many basement remodeling projects that people loved and recommended to their friends that basement finishing gradually nudged out all of our other project requests.

Forming Absolute Basement Finishing LLC was a way to express to my clients and friends the level of dedication me and my team bring to your basement transformation. Finishing basements isn’t a hobby, it is all we do. You won’t catch us replacing siding or roofing or putting up a privacy fences at your neighbor’s house.
